The 40th Street Stage is a small, flexible and intimate Black Box space committed to presenting compelling new works to our community.

Resident Companies include...

BOLD GIRLS Theatre Company, which seeks scripts with issues and situations about Women.

The Vulgar Little Theatre Company seeks funny, bawdy scripts.  These can new translations of old works or original material.

The Children's Theatre of Hampton Roads seeks scripts for family audiences that will run about one hour, with a cast no larger than six.

But, all scripts are accepted...

We prefer full scripts of previousily unproduced works, in hard copy, sent to:
