Bucket of Monkeys is an improvisational children’s theatre that plays to audiences between 4-10 years old. Specializing in theme days, Bucket of Monkeys encourages children to dress up and discover theatre in a fun and interactive way. Bucket of Monkeys can be 'caught' at 40th Street Stage EVERY 1ST SATURDAY OF THE MONTH, at 11 am, as part of The Children's Theatre of Hampton Roads on-going Saturday morning series. |

The Children's Theatre of Hampton Roads is the area's only professional Theatre for Families. Every Saturday morning at 11 am, CTHR presents a performance for kids of all ages at the 40th Street Stage. The programs will vary; Some Saturdays we may present a Guest Artist - like Fuzz and Stuffing Puppets. Our Touring Company is out on the road, presenting programs in Virginia schools, in partnership with Young Audiences of Virginia. We're also committed to the development of new works, like our own The Snow Princess and She, Called Moses. All performances last about one hour, all tickets are $5.00 and all shows are appropriate for all ages, though we recommend children younger than 3 stay home - for now. | | |
