This audience favorite is the story of the life of Harriet Tubman:  Slave, Soldier, Speaker and Spy.  Her story is remarkable and inspiring; our play has recieved great acclaim wherever it goes; it plays well with ages 5 and up.

4 Ever Words:  A Poetry Play

In this inventive play, we meet Laurie, a young girl with a big problem.  But with the help of a witty Jack-in-the-Box and a loving Mother Goose, she'll confront and overcome her problem, and learn a valuable lesson about the things we take with us on life's journey.  This play features classic poetry, old and new, and we've found it plays very well for our youngest viewers- they love Jack!

On the last evening of his long and eventful life, America's most beloved storyteller falls asleep - and is visited by his past, both real and fictional..... It's the story of how a poor boy from Hannibal, Missouri found the world, his voice and became our country's first celebrity.

The Waterman Series:

The Lighthouse Keepers

The first in a planned series of plays about our Watermen culture of the Chespeake Bay.  Future titles include The Ferry Child and Oysterman.

In this play, you'll meet a family in 1910 who live on a Chesapeake Bay Screwpile lighthouse - they tend the lights and kept them burning- they keep the fog bell ringing - and they keep the ships of the Bay and their passengers safe.  It was a lonely, dangerous job, but the Keepers were faithful, no matter what.

  THE TRASHANATOR

 In this play, a brother and sister learn some of the facts of life - like, just what happens to our Trash?  And why is it so important for all of us to make less of it....The Trashanator has traveled back in time and space, coming through their TV set, to teach them in a series of fast paced 'TV shows' just why taking care of our world now will help to make sure that we'll have a future one.

The Trashanator is recommended for ages 6 and up.

Rachel and the Songbirds

In 1962, Rachel Carson published her fourth and final book, Silent Spring.  It was a book that changed the world, as it opened our eyes to the dangers of chemical pesticides and started the environmental movement.  This one quiet, humble woman, a scientest and poet, changed our world...and you'll meet her in this play her life, and the power of hope - when harnessed to an unstoppable will.
